Autumn is a fantastical time of year, and Alton Towers Resort is ready to make it unforgettable with a spectacular lineup of events for families and thrillseekers alike. From the Bavarian family-fun of Oktoberfest to the spooks and frights of Scarefest and the dazzling Fireworks finale, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Oktoberfest: Bavarian fun for everyone! 

Dates: 7th - 29th September 2024 

Kick off your autumn with a dose of Bavarian family-fun at Oktoberfest. The Resort’s front lawns will transform into a vibrant festival, offering more than 40 world-class rides and attractions. This year’s Oktoberfest experience includes a variety of games and activities, such as axe throwing, along with a brand-new Bavarian-inspired food and drink menu. 

This year, the culinary offerings are set to include: 

• Grill Platter: Featuring Frikadellen Pork Meatballs, Kartoffeln (Herbed Potatoes with Bacon), and Käsespätzle (German Egg Noodles with Cheese). 

• Raclette Cheese: A delightful, melted cheese treat. 

• New Pretzel Flavours: Exciting new twists on a classic snack! 

For beverages, guests can enjoy the exclusive Fantastich Lager from local brewery, Rural Brewing Co, Bierplanken (three half pints of German beers), Radler Cocktails, and a brand-new Coca-Cola Freestyle flavour, specially created for Oktoberfest. 

Elevate your oomptastic adventure with our all-new VIP packages, with pre-bookable food and beverage options starting from just £16. Guests can indulge in a Bratwurst and Pretzel Pair, Bavarian Triple (Bierplanken and a bratwurst), or an Oompha Grill (Grill platter and a pint of German beer). Scarefest: Days and nights of spooks and frights!

Dates: 11th October - 3rd November 2024 

Just two weeks after Oktoberfest ends, the Resort will transform into a haunted haven for our award-winning Halloween event, Scarefest. This year promises brand-new scare attractions alongside returning spooky favourites. With 20 days of uninterrupted Halloween fun, visitors can expect spooks and frights like never before!

Fireworks Spectacular: A Grand Finale
